Commercial Irrigation Turn On

At your irrigation turn we will, turn on the power to your irrigation control box, turn the water on to the system, run each zone individually to make sure all heads are operational and properly adjusted for maximum coverage and program the control box irrigation schedule to water for the next few weeks based on current weather forecasting. If any repairs are needed, they will be reported to you for approval and we will either repair them then or at a later scheduled time depending on the availability of parts and the technician’s available time.

Backflow Certification for Commercial Properties

We provide a yearly backflow inspection and certificate as required by several of the surrounding water districts to comply with each district’s guidelines. This inspection is normally completed when activating your irrigation system in the spring. Once completed, the backflow certificate is sent to the corresponding water district. If your backflow fails to pass the inspection, we will notify you. We will try to repair the backflow when at all possible but if it is non-repairable, we will supply you with current pricing to replace the unit. If repair or replacement cannot be completed at the initial visit, we will schedule the service as soon as possible at another time.

Irrigation Check & Maintenance Updates

Irrigation Winterization Services for KC Properties

Prior to the Irrigation Winterization we highly suggest an Irrigation Check to ensure the system is operating correctly before it is winterized. If there are any repairs that need to be made, we will make note of them and either repair them before winterization or make notes to repair in the spring at turn on. For the irrigation winterization we use a large commercial air compressor that uses the same amount of pressure as your water supply to blow out the lines. We will turn off the water supply to the system, blow out any remaining water from each zone and turn off your controller. If your backflow is located outside, we recommend installing two unions for quick removal of the backflow so it may be stored inside for the winter. It will be just as easy to re-install it at spring turn on.
